My Actifit Report Card: April 18 2021
I had limited activity today. I mostly spent time watching videos on 3speak and curating on Hive.
I’m glad that I did lose some weight. I was better behaved with my eating yesterday. Today was just as good. I hope the scale is kind to me tomorrow morning.
My eating today included a shake for breakfast, lots of coffee, salad, 2 tamales, 2 mozzarella sticks, and some cottage cheese.
Somebody suggested making my own popsicles with cream and sugar free drink flavoring. It’s in the freezer now. If it works, I’ll have a keto friendly snack for the summer.
My weight loss mission is accompanied by keeping away from alcohol. No beer. No liquor. I’m giving my liver a break. I’m already altering my diet. This is not an additional change. It has been coming for some time. I don’t get the same enjoyment I used to get from drinking. Lately, it just puts me to sleep. Ironically, it also causes restless nights. I don’t wake up refreshed the morning after. And, I’ve even started to get mild headaches. They’re not the throbbing headaches like the hangovers of my misspent youth. But, I am less tolerant of having to feel less than my best as I grow older. I’ll revisit drinking again at a later time, maybe a year or two. I’m not missing it like I thought I would. I miss breakfast tacos more. 🌯
