My Canada off-grid neighbor Grant, has this beautiful cabin that I pass on my hike everyday. Today was a good day for a break, and to dry off a bit.😅
Guys it is Summer correct?
Well I got over 60 uphill floors today, and I discovered my winter waterproof jacket and my very waterproof boots were not.....😯
This is a reminder that even when you think you are fully prepared, like my friend and fellow silver gold stacker @silversaver888 had just mentioned, there is always room for improvement and re-checking all of your gear!😇
Everyone enjoy Summer and July, I think I’ll throw another log on the fire!🤗

Amazing! I loved that little cozy homely cabin as well. I really feel like I would love to spend my after retirement life like your, out in woody area with love, smiles laughter with my girl and blogging by my side
I suppose you have a bug out bag? There was a time when I first got interested in prepping [BTW, I am not a hardcore prepper... I am just well-prepared for emergencies] I would surf the internet to try to learn about what must one have in a bug out bag. It is a very nice cabin... it looks ideal to me!

I think you are being very smart @silversaver888! Anything can really happen, we both live in parts of the country where there were earthquakes. You never know, that could be the least of our problems......🤔

Brrrr, I don't blame the MRS lol. We had 7 inches of rain yesterday but it didn't cool off much. The walking trail in the park is a mudslide right now due to the creek flooding that runs through it.
Get warm and don't catch a cold!

I can understand the mudslide, I have a trail I'm trying to get the Mrs. to go on, and it's pretty muddy.....🙄
