Uh Oh, Silvertop that doesn’t look good!😳
Over the years I sometimes press my luck....Today I went too far!!!
Silvertop has been cutting firewood, and this Cedar tree was dead, so it was time!
This tree was rotten at the base, but solid from two feet above the ground.... excellent firewood!
The only problem was this tree is deep in my woods, surrounded by many other trees. That’s where the problem started!
When I made the base cut, it hung up in the branches of other trees.....and then it turned!😲
It pinned my running chainsaw!😳
I quickly turned the chainsaw off, but if I let go of the saw it would bend my bar, or break my chain!
Silvertop is all alone in his woods, what to do?🤔
I reached down and put a branch, a crutch, under the saw to temporarily hold it upright!
This bought me some time to just stand back and take a look at just how silly this looks Lol!🤣
After pounding in a wedge and rocking the tree back and forth my saw was free!!🤗
I sent the Mrs the first photo, and she thought it was a staged photo Lol!!😇
Hiking........ when the Mrs came home you couldn’t see our Mountain, with the A/C on all day I can see smoke INSIDE our house, it’s that bad!
She actually did tonight’s @actifit hike with a mask, because the Mrs is singing this Sunday...
Take a look at the photo of just me, you can see the smoke behind me by the hills!
In twenty years here it has never been this smoky!!!
I’m not sure if this is from fires in California, Eastern Washington, or Canada.
Cooler Weather tomorrow, we really need some rain, or some wind.
