My Actifit Report Card and Update: May 16 2020

Hi Everyone,

It is Actifit time again. I am still locked down and I still trying my best to be active. I haven't done anything different this week. I am still kicking the football around the garden. There was less sunshine and, overall, the weather was a little colder. Hopefully, there will still be some good weather left by the time I get back to the lake.

500 Posts

I have made it to 500 posts on Steem/Hive. This is an exciting milestone. I am so glad I have been able to create this many posts over the years. Over 80 of those posts have been Actifit posts. I try to post one Actifit post a week. I think Actifit is a really good initiative. It is a unique motivator for people to remain active. Plus these posts also appear on Steem, thus giving me and my content more exposure. My other content has been mostly linked to economics. I have a combination of written posts, videos and contests. If you have time, I recommend that you revisit some of my older work, most of it is still relevant.

I have also updated my 'Collection of Work' Series with links to my content on Hive rather than Steem, which was in the original posts. You can access all of my content using the links at the bottom of this post.

Other Content

I have continued to churn out a few posts. I have written about abortion and created my results video for the Buying and Selling game.

The return of the Buying and Selling Game was not the success I was hoping it to be. The contest had just one entry. I plan to continue the contest. I will increase the prize money and I will simplify the instructions so that the game is easier to follow. Hopefully, I will attract more people to join.

My other post was about abortion. Abortion is both a controversial and political topic. In my post, I attempted to adopt a logical approach that explored several aspects of the debate. Defining when someone transitions from just genetic material to an actual person is key to how I believe abortion should be viewed. I also explored other key areas such as threat to life and health.

That brings me to the end of this Actifit Report and Update. I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I should be back next week with more updates and hopefully a better count.
