My Actifit Report Card and Update: April 16 2021

Hi Actifitters,

I hope everyone had an awesome and active week. For me it was a fairly normal week activity wise. I feel I've had too many normal weeks. I will need to change things up a bit. After all, summer is on the way and Covid restrictions are easing up for a few months. I'm expecting the restrictions to come back in October. For those of you who don't follow my Actifit posts, my regular activity comes from walking Mango the dog by lake. He loves his walks and the lake path is his favourite route. He likes the forest as well.

My Content

I have written two posts since my previous Actifit Report. The first post was my Buying and Selling Game. The entry period is about to expire. I strongly recommend you rush over to that post for a chance to win 30 Hive. It's a simple game that involves buying and selling in different locations with the objective of earning the highest profit. It helps if you have some knowledge of economics and/or maths. It also helps if you are lucky.

In my other post I express my concerns about the current bull run. Bull runs can be fun if your cryptocurrency is riding a positive trend. The price of Hive has struggled a little this month but the trend is still bullish. I'm expecting price to climb quite steeply soon. My concerns are not about the price but the stimulation behind the price. Most of the buying is driven by speculation and not by value or possible use cases. This could lead to very high prices but these prices are likely to be volatile. This could also mean we could be heading towards very harsh altcoin bear markets. Our main quest should be to find genuine long term investors who will weather the storm. I would argue that this should happen before the later stages of this bull run while prices are still reasonable.

Spectrumecons reaches 150K Hive Power

I'll end this report on a cheerful note. My @spectrumecons account has just passed 150K Hive Power for the first time. It's amazing how much it has increased over the years. My last major power up was in 2019 when I took the account to 120K Hive Power. My more recent power ups have gone to my @captainhive account, which is now over 50K Hive Power. I feel very invested in our blockchain. It is fun to see the value of these accounts rise during the bull run.
