My Actifit Report Card and Update: July 2 2021

Hi Everyone,

I'm back with my Actifit Report and Update. I hope everybody had a pleasant and active week. I've been able to consistently get out and about and I have had a decent week activity wise. I've also happened to hurt my neck. I'm not sure how or even when, it just started hurting one day. It seems to be on the mend now anyway.

My Content

I posted twice since my previous Actifit Report and Update. The first post was the results for Contest 20 of the Buying and Selling Game. Five people entered, which is about the average for this contest at the moment. The Buying and Selling Game will return very soon as the first challenge in the 7-week challenge series. The value of the prize will depend on the number of entries. Top performing participants will also be granted points, which will contribute to determining the overall winner of the series at the end of August. If you want to increase your chances of winning the series, you should enter all the contests.

In my second post, I discussed the scary reality the world is facing. Power and wealth has been gradually accumulated by a few groups of people and organisations. Over the past years, this accumulation has been rapidly fast tracked. Governments have implemented strict restrictions and laws, which has greatly reduced freedoms as well as facilitated a huge transfer of wealth to the richest in society. Mainstream media and social media have been used to spread fear and have greatly contributed to dividing society on a range of issues. I believe the worst is still to come. We need to set our differences aside and work together to take back our freedoms and our lives. The post is quite long and pieces a lot of different areas together. There are also many links to some of my earlier posts, which could be useful for adding more context to the points described.

Spectrumecons Seven-Week Challenge (Coming Soon)

In July and August, I will be running a Seven Week Challenge Series. All the challenges will be focused around economics. Participants only need to enter through the comments section of each challenge post. Participants could win up to 60 Hive in each challenge. The first 12 participants for each challenge will receive an upvote. There will also be an overall winner for the entire series.
