My Actifit Report Card: March 2 2020 A walk and some waterfalls

A walk and some waterfalls

Well after almost getting ready to head to work this morning, the rest of the day went pretty well, to get myself into the new routine I made a to-do list for each day of this week to keep myself busy, and I managed to tick off everything for today, and after lunch went out for a walk around downtown Milford and managed to hit my 10K steps goal, I actually according to my watch got a lot more steps in around the house, but my iphone was sitting on my computer table for all of that, but I feel a real walk steps are better than around the house steps and happy I hit 10K.

The shots for tonight's post are all taken with my camera on the walk, which will probably be my new norm now that I have more time.

I walked from home to downtown Milford, taking a few shots here and there and then decided to get some shots of the three waterfalls in the area for tonight's post, starting with a couple of shots of the waterfall by the upper duck pond.
This first shot is zoomed in and looking at this spot in the middle of the falls.

This is at the edge of the same falls looking down, as you can see from this shot the drop isn't much but with the water flowing well as it was today, the sound of the water rushing over the falls was quite soothing.

Nice shots! I do love waterfalls. I am hoping that my wife and I get the chance to hike back into some this Summer when we are back up in the UP.

I just love waterfalls! The sight and sound just soothes the inner being. You did justice to this awesome piece of nature with your pictures. Welcome to your new life!
p.s.
You might want to consider, in the future, a trip to Foz de Iguacu in Parana, Brazil. The interconnecting series of waterfalls there is just so fantastic and a sight to behold. I was very fortunate to have visited the place in the 1990's. You should visit one of these days. Maybe when Steem moons!

Thanks I have heard of that place, and did hope to visit it, but my long-distance traveling days are over, my lungs do not do well in planes so I don't fly anymore

Oh I'm sorry to hear that. Oh well, you might miss this but you still have more than enough places to see and enjoy to compensate for this. One of these is just right on your cell phone when you read the Wednesday Walk of all the contributors. That's like touring the world without stressing your lungs :)
