My Actifit Report Card: March 5 2020 A new flag pole
A new flag pole
Today for my steps I headed to Anchor Beach to get some steps in and also to check out the new flag pole that was just recently installed, The previous flag pole had got damaged with wear and tear over the years, and could no longer take the weight of a flag, so its good to see the new flagpole up and the flag flying proud there on what I think they call signal rock.
The wind was gusty on and off so it took a few shots to catch the flag mostly up like in this first shot

I did take shots of it from different angles, and these two shots looked the most potential of the ones I got so I quickly edited them for this post.

After getting a few shots of the new flag pole, I walked along the beachfront of both Anchor Beach and Woodmont Beach along the sidewalk mostly on today's walk.

This is a shot looking across Woodmont Beach the sun was out and a nice blue sky and water was nice to see on today's walk, I only did a little over 7.5 Steps today but I am happy with that as long as I get out and get fresh air its all good for me, it was a funny day with the gusts of wind, when the wind was blowing it felt a bit chilly, but when the wind took a break it was pleasant and warm, I was zipping up my jacket them unzipping it back and forth along the walk LOL

That is a pretty cool flag pole. We have one out on a small island in one of our lakes. I think it was in a music video at one time. It is pretty recognizable. Great stuff!
Its a bit of a landmark here when the old one stopped being used due to damage people were up in arms rthat it had to be replaced so I am glad it finally was :)
Brrrr. I was just thinking how cold the water is. It's not frozen but I bet anyone swimming there now would go into hypothermia.
Actually this water has not been frozen of recent but it would still be too cold for me to swim in, but I think its this weekend they have an event called the Polar Bear Plunge, where people got for a quick dunk inthe water, I would watch others do it but not for me anymore lOL
Very much like the Ice Bucket Challenge :) It's when a bucket of ice-cold water is dumped over someone's head. I don't think I can handle that too.
When I was younger I did the Polar plunge or whatever its called, now I am more happy to see others do it, and thinking about it I believe it was today and the temp is just on freezing so I misse dit lOL
