My Actifit Report Card: August 27 2020
Did dishes and laundry. Went to Ruby's pantry and picked up three shares. Shared the milk with the neighbor since there were 9 gallons! Found a tree frog chilling on the bunny tractors.

Ruby's Pantry has its own website, but its a place you can spend $20 to get a 'share'. Each share is about 2 to 2 1/2 totes worth of food. This time we got 3 gallons of milk, 2 bags of BBQ pork patties, 2 large bags of shredded mozzarella, a medium sized container of sour cream and the same of cottage cheese, 2 lbs of butter, 1 pizza, a huge bag of fries, a small bag of potatoes, two large heads of broccoli, 2 bottles of lemonade, 1 case of ice cream bars(6 boxes in each case), and a bag of bobs red mill cornbread mix. The shares aren't the same every visit, but its definitely worth a visit if you have one local to you. Currently they cover most of Minnesota and part of Wisconsin. With my family of 5 we usually get three shares. Usually its a max of 2 but my grandma is signed up too and we pick up her share. She's diabetic so she usually takes the meat and things shes allowed and we trade her some of ours for the stuff she can't have.
We live in Washington State, and I don't think we have anything like this up here. I know what you are talking about. We moved from Colorado and we had what was called "Colorado share". It was exactly what you have, except you needed to volunteer for two hours per week instead of shares. Everyone became a worker/helper, and it was a fantastic help with my family of five.
