My Actifit Report Card: July 16 2021
역시 에어콘 3대중 2대가 고장나니 집에 있기 힘들 정도로 덥습니다. 2년전까지 한대에 $1850불이였던 에어콘이 지금은 $2000불이 넘습니다. 다른 회사 제품을 사려고해도 벽에 Size가 표준이 아니라 그 회사 제품을 살 수 밖에 없는데, 전화를 해보니 직접 구매할 수 없다고 합니다.
어쩔 수 없이, 날이 더워 $500불 정도를 더 주더라도 빨리 교체해야지 싶어 에이전트에게 전화를 했는데 온다고 하더니 연락도 없고 오지도 않습니다. 아무래도 좀 가격이 더 올라가지 싶습니다.
거의 20년이 넘은 옛날 기종하나로 버티고 있는데, 아래 건물 매니저에게 물어보니 예전 모델 중 30년이 넘은 것도 있다고합니다. 최근 모델은 모두 중국에서 만들고 10년을 넘기 힘들다고 합니다.
기술자체가 딸리는 건지, 그냥 10년 정도를 목표로 제품을 만든건지 모르겠지만, 앞으로는 10년 쓰면 바꿔야하는 것으로 편히 생각해야겠습니다.
