My Actifit Report Card: August 30 2020

A tough, tough hike up in Flagstaff to end my weekend Actifit report. I'm tired!!!!

Mt Elden rises a couple of thousand feet above Flagstaff and is a popular area for trails. Even though I got there early the parking lot was almost full. The trail is listed as HARD and it is!!!! A hard climb up a twisting path covered in large rocks (yet runners were coming and going).

My legs were really tired by the top of the long uphill climb but the beautiful mountain scenery and the nice refreshing breeze blowing made it a great climb.

I had originally hoped to circle back down around the mountain but the effort up had really wore me out and it was getting warmer so it wad back down the trail to wrap up my hike. Maybe I'll try a loop around the trails in the cooler days of Autumn and spend more time exploring the area.
