My Actifit Report Card: December 31 2020

Finally the shit show that wad 2020 has come to an end - can only hope that 2021 is better in so many ways.


I was only able to run one mediocre 24 hour waaaaaay back in the middle of February over in Nevada. Of course the covid nonsense pretty much totally screwed up the rest of the year. Now I'm still waiting to see if the 2021 edition of that ultra takes place or if it's put off until 2022, this stuff really does suck!!!

It wad a cold but comfortable enough morning for my run. I felt a bit stiff to start but that quickly resolved after a little bit and the rest of my run wad quite good. Headed out through the older and less busy neighborhood roads so it was a peaceful workout and I'm happy to end the year on a positive note.

Tomorrow morning my plan is to make sure I measure my fiet and metabolic metrics (ketones, glucose. weight, etc) and track it all going forward now that we might actually have a few ultras to run. I slacked off in this regard this year and my training and healthy diet suffered way too many ups and downs.
Time to kick back and ring out the year by watching some videos and going to bed well before midnight - want to begin the new year rested and feeling refreshed.
