My Actifit Report Card: January 4 2021
A productive Monday run to get the first full week of 2021 off to a good start.
My legs felt pretty good although I did seem to lose my drive after a couple of back to back ascents halfway into my run. I never did feel strong after that point but overall my effort was good. Nice to run on some of the woodsy back roads that I haven't run since the end of summer. Plenty of quiet forest and not too much traffic so I can enjoy my run instead of watching out for the lousy driver's out here.
It felt good to have the temperature get up to a wonderful 60 degrees after the cold night. I'll be very happy when the freezing cold is gone and Spring is here. Of course it will be that much better if all of the covid restrictions and craziness is FINALLY history for good!!!
Happy times at the park ad all of our friends were also out enjoying the day and it continued on with a pleasant 5 mile walk to wrap up my Actifit day.
