A nice recovery after a wasted day of inactivity and crappy diet yesterday.
Guess my body needed some rest and it would have been fine except I decided to indulge in some delicious (but definitely not keto-friendly) local Chinese take out food. Oh well, it was tasty at least but now I have to catch up with the healthy habits.
My run started off on the slow side as my body still felt sluggish from yesterday's excesses bit after a couple of loops of flat road l felt better and headed out onto a bit more rolling course. The 20 degree temperature quickly improved with the rising sun and the still air.
Overall it was a not too bad/not that great sort of run so it will be interesting to see how this next week goes.
Now l have to wait just 5 more days before we get the update on if my 100 miler will go on next month. I will be so glad to get away from this nonsense.
A chilly 5 mile afternoon walk to burn off a few more calories after indulging Lulu with a couple of hours at the dog park. I don't know what my little dog will do whenever I get back to volunteering and don't have all this spare time - maybe this year will be another waste like last year if they governments keep up with all of the continued restrictions.
