Monday brings continued improvement and progress in my running and perhaps I'm finally going to return to my former endurance soon.
Got a tad later start to my run but it was still a morning workout up and over one of my more hilly road routes as I went out to crest near Thumb Butte and my "mile high" point here in the area before a speedy descent back to the finish. Have to say my legs felt pretty good but a bit tired thighs that slowed me a bit on the mile or so ascent up to the turnaround at the Butte (have to remember to try my CBD ointment on my thighs today to see if that helps).
Finished up the day by finally getting back to my fitness center for an hour of easy weight work to build up a bit more upper body strength for those long races. Looking forward to a good week again.
