My Actifit Report Card: June 14 2021

We'll, at least I started off the new week with a run. It wad slow and short and not very comfortable- but it's a start 😀

The heat was early again as the thermometer was already near 90 when I started my run with no wind to move the hot and dry air. The only good thing is that the humidity is so low otherwise the Southwest would be horrid in the summer.
My right knee ached with each stride but my route was an easy (mostly) flat course through the quiet rural neighborhood just up the road from home.
A short half mile or so spur on an ARC trail added a little bit of off-road scenery and interest (Plus the little bit of climbing on this run).
Wish that I had more endurance these days but it's going to be a long, long process to get back to being able to run an ultramarathon again I'm not sure if that is in my future right now but it would be nice to toe the line at the end of the year at the ATY 6 day down in Phoenix

Gotta keep up the hope 🤞🤞🤞
