Picking Oregano

This Sunday with @nanast, @deska89 and other friends we went to Strandzha mountain to pick herbs. We wanted to find wild mint.

We had a great walk in the forest of Strandzha. We saw so many beautiful flowers and herbs.

There were grasshoppers, butterflies and this very interesting caterpillar.

We didn't find mint, but we did find lots of wild oregano.

Oregano is an extremely valuable herb that is used as a spice or tea.

In addition to Oregano, we also pick Galium.

Galium is considered a flower of health and longevity.

Happy and satisfied, we continued our Sunday journey to the Black sea. In town Primorsko, we spent some time on the beach.

At the end of the day we returned to the city.

What a lovely day to be out picking herbs!! You know so much about wild herbs! I use dried oregano!! No fresh herbs!
