Happy 4th of July Weekend at the Lake

We drove to our friend’s lake house for a couple of days to celebrate 4th of July with them.
There was an air show over the lake in the daytime July 3rd and then plenty of fireworks at night July 3rd and 4th!
Me and hubby on the left and our close friends of 31 years on the right!
We were at their lake house in Texas!

Yes @old-guy-photos, it was fun - except I enjoy being in the boat more than in the nasty lake water - haha. Somehow when I was much younger 20's and 30's the yucky lake water didn't bother me so much. Also I went water skiing in my 20's... young and carefree?? A checkout dive when I was 29 in a lake for my scuba certification was definitely scary!! I prefer swimming pools and clear oceans for swimming ...with no sharks! LoL Anyway I hope your summer is going well!
