"Breeze, Bridge, and Beauty: Walking Jinnah Barrage"My Actifit Report Card: April 26 2025
Asslam o alikum and hello to my all friends and #actifit community members.
I am good and i hope all my dear friends will be fine.
Today was a very special day for me. I got a chance to visit Jinnah Barrage, which is located near Kalabagh, with my cousin Iqrar Khan. Iqrar is a student and a very good companion. We both were excited about this short trip as we had heard a lot about the natural beauty and peaceful environment of the place.
We started our journey in the morning. The weather was pleasant, and the sky was clear. On the way, we saw green fields, tall trees, and the peaceful countryside. The road to Kalabagh was smooth, and the fresh air made the ride even more enjoyable. We reached Jinnah Barrage after some time, and the view that welcomed us was truly amazing.
As we got closer to the water, I could hear the strong sound of the water flowing. It was fresh, clear, and cold. The breeze blowing from the river was cool and refreshing. It felt so peaceful to stand there and watch the water moving with such strength. It felt like all my worries were being washed away with the flowing river.
Iqrar and I sat near the edge of the barrage and took a moment to admire the beauty of nature. The environment was so calm and silent, except for the sound of the water and the birds chirping. We took many pictures to keep the memories safe. Every picture had a story, and every moment felt special.
While we were sitting there, we noticed a small boat floating alone in the river. There was no one in it. It was just drifting slowly with the water. That scene was so peaceful and a little mysterious. We both watched it for a long time without saying anything. Sometimes silence says more than words.
We also talked about many things—our future, our goals, and our childhood memories. It felt good to spend quality time with someone close. We laughed, shared stories, and enjoyed every single moment. Sometimes, these small trips help us understand the value of nature and relationships even more.
After spending some hours there, we felt very relaxed and refreshed. We didn’t want to leave, but we knew it was time to return. Before going back, we sat for a while, looking at the water, feeling the breeze on our faces. I closed my eyes and tried to absorb the peaceful energy around me.
Visiting Jinnah Barrage was a great experience. It reminded me how beautiful our country is and how important it is to take a break from our busy lives and enjoy the simple things. The fresh water, cool air, and natural views brought so much peace to my mind. I am really thankful for this day and the time I spent with my cousin.
I would suggest everyone visit such places whenever they get a chance. Nature has a healing power. Sometimes all we need is some time near water, fresh air, and someone to talk to. This visit will always remain close to my heart.
Today I walked more then 5k steps . thanks my dear #hivers
