Well no one can say I haven't tried to get to 10000 steps today.
Not only did I go out for a brisk lunch time walk again today, but after getting home from work, I took 1/2pint to the local park for a run around.
So it's been a sunny week, and a good week for getting out for lunch time walks. It's now a case of finding that fine line and pace of maximising my walks to get the most out of them.
Today's lunchtime walk was a good example of working hard for a short period to get the best return for my effort.
I got the heart rate up by "power walking" and spent 90+% of the time in the fat burning zone.
Even buckling 1/4pint up and taking her out has worn her out. Let's hope they both sleep well tonight, so Mrs W and myself can get a good night's sleep
