Today was highlighted by another trip to the beach on the south shore of a Great Lake. The forecast called for rain during the late morning and chance of thundershowers the rest of the afternoon. We decided to brave the weather in hopes of picking the best spot on a populated beach while the fair weather campers stayed under their tarps.
After an hour in a downpour under a beach tent, everyone vacated the beach except us. Then, the rest of the day looked like this.
