#wednesdaywalk - sportstalk 10k+!

I really really meant to take lots of pictures during golf today. I knew it would mean for 10k or more #actifit steps, make for a good out doors active shots, and show you a little more or the wonderful countryside in my small Canadian region.

Then, I spend 4 hours golfing, hanging out with business partners, and not taking pictures. Wtf. So I have over 11k steps and an awesome day of golf and next to no pictures to show my legions of fans.

Fucking wonderful.

So, it is time to take a walk in the neighbourhood and show you our collection of suburbanites enjoying this safe, fun hood.

These homes are priced between 400 and 600k as they are predominantly freestanding homes and not semis.

A little too much lawn for my liking but it is pretty nice and green

Here we are looking east as the sun goes down and my buddy across the street is waving me over for a beer and a visit.

Better head through my yard and grab a couple beers so that I am a good guest. Here is the butterfly and bee pollinator garden we planted this year. I like It as much as my veggie garden.

One last check on my back yard and all the damn tomatoes and other growing stuff. I wonder what the neighbourhood has growing.

Alrighty then! @davedickeyyall likes Blue Dream and this is it growing wild

Time to bask in my 11k steps, grab another beer from the fridge, enjoy some white rhino, and watch some hockey playoffs in the middle of august like a good Canadian.

Download @actifit on your phone, get paid on the blockchain for your activity/stories, talk about your sports with @sportstalk, and take a #wednesdaywalk with #tattoodjay and the rest of the active Hive bloggers. Hive 5 to us all!

Those look like some happy plants, loving the cannabis growing outside.

Are they perennials? Or annuals where you live?

The cannabis is the neighbour's and I have vowed not to grow until the kids are through highschool. Not like I can't buy it legally up the street but I would love to give it a try.

You have to plant them from seeds or clones (tear off a branch and root it in sweetened water) Apparently it is Blue Dream and it will be neat to see how it turns out for him.

Oh okay, was just curious if it does back in the winter and then emerges in the spring? Or you have to plant new seeds every spring for new plants.

Definitely from seeds. Would be really nice if you could knock the top off it come harvest time and have the roots just spring up a new plant the next year though.

Ah yeah some plants just want to be annuals it seems. I believe in warm climates you can grow them year round by selective pruning. They become trees.

This is true as well.

Some growers I know just grow one big female one and keep it alive all the time (no harvesting) so they can snap branches off to create clones. I would like to try my hand at this when the kids are older!
