#SublimeSunday: May Two-Four Weekend!

This weekend is a long weekend for hosers to celebrate Victoria Day. We use to call it May Two-Four because the long weekend meant for an extra night of too many beers and a box of 24 is commonly known as a two-four. There you have it.

I normally like to take the extra day to get a round of golf in but even the golf courses have been closer in the current lockdown...

...until Saturday! The courses announced they were allowed to open and we snagged a tee-off time for the very first day of the season.

It is not all fun and games on a long weekend. I also fill a list with the rest of the yard work needed to set up for the season. Good news is I only left mowing, planting and watering for today.

I took a swipe at assembling our new fire pit? Bowl? Thingy? I have plenty of wood after knocking off dead branches and will give it a go tomorrow.

Til tomorrow, which will be my highly-anticipated premier #gardenjournal post, I drink to you with a big beer plain enough to quench the thirst after cleaning up.

We are getting there. Official garden tour post today for more but you will see some real green in about a month!!
