Iam2020
The fifth Invictus Games will be taking place in The Hague, Netherlands from May 09-16, 2020. Many competitors are already prepping for their events.

The games will host more than 500 participants competing in athletics, weightlifting, archery, indoor rowing, JLR Driving Challenge, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby, cycling, sitting volleyball and swimming.

The 500 plus competitors will represent 19 countries as the vie for the top medals. The athletes will represent: Afghanistan, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, France, Georgia, Italy, Iraq, Jordan, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Ukraine, Poland, Romania, United Kingdom and the United States.

For those of you that have not heard of the Invictus Games be sure to follow me as I relate and cover the teams, the events and the athletes. I know I'm a head of the game :-) but there are a lot of teams to go through.

The inaugural games opened in September 2014 in London. The 2020 games are a celebration of 75 years of liberation of the Netherlands. I followed the games when they were here in Toronto back in 2017. It was both exciting and inspiring.

His Royal Highness the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, the patron of the Games kicks off the games in Toronto, 2017

The Invictus Games is the international adaptive sporting event for wounded, injured and sick Servicemen and women, both serving and veteran. The Games use the power of sport to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation and generate a wider understanding and respect of all those who serve their country. https://denhaag.com/en/event/103799/invictus-games-the-hague-2020

I hope that you join me as we get closer to 2020. What team or sport should I cover first? Let me know what you think!
