Last Man Standing Round 3 Results. Bloodbath.

This Week was the week. The week where we lost many souls. An easy week we thought. Man United would easy see off Palace and Spurs would beat Newcastle off the park. It was not to be in both cases with two major upsets. United just can't score a penalty. You just could not make it up. Who will take the penalties next week I wonder. So let us summarise. Out of 26 remaining contestants there are only 11 left . 11 !!! 15 are gonzo this round. Only 42% got through.

@talesfrmthecrypt backed his own team. Golden rule broken there. My father backed Spurs in the cup final in 1986. He is not a gambler but never backed a team again after it. He still gets grief off his mates. @leedsunited was never going to win this week. He backed his swore enemy to win. Man United. I nearly fainted when I heard the news. I backed Palace as a result. United were never gonna win after a Leed's fan backed them . Not a hope. @abh12345.sports had a good run with Arsenal and Spurs. I am surprised he went for Wolves considering Sean Dyke has Burnley playing like Barcelona lately. Pick of the week goes to @shitsignals who picked Leicester to beat Sheffield Utd in a convincing win. He clearly didn't live up to his own name.
Results are below. There were two contestants that did not give me a pick. As per the rules I selected the team at the top of the league if not selected already in their weeks choices. One got Arsenal and the other got Man City so one went through to the next round. @deniskj has got through by not picking his own team yet. Wise man. @erikah is still going strong with a wise choice of teams so far.

So it is over to the last 11 to give me their selections for next week.
You have until next Friday to give me a selection. And remember you CANNOT select a team that you have selected before. If you have not selected Liverpool or Manchester City yet then this may be an easy week for you. But that is what we all thought this week.

Consolation prizes

We all know that my prizes are extremely good. Really thoughtful and I spare no expense.
@leedsunited I was in Leeds once and a bum told me he would give us a tour of the pubs if we got him a pint in each one. What better way to explore a city I shouted on my 8th pint. The pubs were a certain level as you would imagine letting a man with one shoe in. Here is one establishment he brought us to. The decor was top class. There were nicer toilets in Basra. But the rim was spotless mind. You could eat your dinner in that toilet. It was only a bit of damp.

So @leedsunited your prize is a trip into the city centre for a tour with my homeless mate Jimmy. He doesn't have a phone so just lurk around Faces nightclub for a while and he will bring you to all the places on our epic tour.
