Day 495 | Evening Walk + August Plans

I started a challenge of taking 100 days off to mainly focus on my health and overall personal development and used this account as a personal blog to keep track of all my activity. I enjoyed it and continued afterward trying to build better habits and find a good balance between health, fitness, work and my personal life...

I had somewhat of an off-day on Thursday since I don't really have a clear plan for the new month yet after July mostly resolved around me losing some weight which wentquite well. So in the evening I drove to my favorite walking route doing that which gave me some time to think about it.

JULY PLANS

  • Food: by now it's clear that sticking to a plant based diet without allowing myself any room for cheat days is by far the best approach. Once I'm into it, it is all quite easy but I have to stay organised and make sure I always have proper food available. I don't mind eating the same thing over and over again so I have something of a meal scheduele. The first thing I eat will either be oat meal, a smoothie or a home made proteine Shake. I will always prepare meals on Friday evening for 3 days and switch between lentil lasagna with green vegetables & Lentil spagetti with vegetable tomato sauce. Tuesday I eat at my parents and will bring along some leftovers to eat on wednesday. Thursday and friday I'm still unclear. I will make sure to never eat late at night so I get good night sleeps

  • Work-out: I intend to join 3 hot yoga sessions a week on Monday / Wednesday / Friday. These should give the benefits of really clearing my skin. Sunday morining will be my runday doing around 5km and I will slowly start adding reps back into my routine mostly in the weekends when I'm behind my pc most day having a power station in my room. I will also try to pick up tennis again.

  • Steemit/Scorum: These have taken too much of my time and I will cut down on them a bit. I will continue these daily self-improvement posts as they have helped me tremendously and also continue making previews of the belgian league matches as they also help me to stay sharper. In the morning I intend to spend 20-30 minutes playing some steemmonsters as I have really enjoyed the game and it does make a big difference when wanting to grow on this platform.

  • Work: Even though I don't see it as work, betting is one of my main income sources. This is the first month of the season and most my focus will be on establishing a good read on all the teams. I do plan to also follow the 2nd division, EPL and maybe the Eredivisie along with the Europa League / Champions League. All these will likely the most time consuming.

  • Social Life: I'm pretty happy the way things are being on my own right now, even though I don't plan to keep it like this forever and would love to have a family of my own one day. Right now is simply not the time to make much progress on this regard as It a huge energy drain for me and I pretty much would have to drop everything else for it. I will still see some of my closest friends and spend weekly quality time with my family which is a good balance for me. So no tinder or dating whatsoever.


That's about it, the goal is to make it into a balanced month overall, I will start adding the daily objectives table to track how I'm doing tomorrow.
