"Let it Rain" & My Actifit Report Card: July 25 2019

The rain falls hard. I'm not likely going to get an entirely huge surge in my actifit steps today so I'll just put this here now.

I love the rain. I love dancing in the rain. I do dance in the rain.

Unless there's a heavy cold poor, umbrellas confuse me. I get it if we are working or going to a job interview, event, date, etcetera; otherwise I DRESS for rain. I avoid jeans and light coloured tops. Most variations of tank tops are perfect. Dresses will do in a pinch but generally aren't a #1 option. The longer the dress, more likely to be uncomfortable.

I've seen people scurry and frown while I relish nature's cool taps on my salty flesh.

What do the humans run from? Life? Cleanliness? A cool down?

Historically AND currently, creatures have suffered great anguish when void of rain. Animals and human animals alike have basked and praised in the arrival of wet droplets.

Not us. Not the spoiled species of today. We no longer perceive rain as much more than an inconvenience; an inconvenience for work, play, love, fitness, chores, and such. Having our life source poor from our walls has rendered human's appreciation for what I think is the most valuable resource.

We can genetically create food, produce and purify air, and clone entire creatures, but we cannot create water. Sure- fix me up some condensation, delicious- hardly sustaining.

Let it rain.
I want my food to grow, flowers to bloom, water to drink, showers to bathe, and grass to picnic.
