Gerald Green thinks Westbrook is the key to a championship for Houston Rockets for the upcoming seasons. During an interview recently, he said " Anything he needs...he needs my stylist to go get his hair braided? I got him. Welcome to Houston, man. I'm excited. He’s a key for us to win a championship." Russell Westbrook is a point guard and a good one then James Harden can have the ball and pass to Russell Westbrook that's how i understand complimentary pieces put together to get better cohesion. I understand the logic but I'm just having a hard time trying to quantify two men whose really good I'll give them that but plays almost the same position whose idea of winning varies and is all over the place gonna work together. I just get quite confused as to how the inner mechanics works especially the mental side of it. They both are terrific players with different understanding of the word winning. I wish them well, I just don’t think having them both is a good idea. I have the same sentiments with the basketball world fans, Harden and Westbrook are both stat machines they are aiming for statistics, I can’t see this team succeeding with this move since this two are ball handlers and are known to have higher percentage of handling the ball in the NBA today. Maybe if someone among these two sacrifice, it would be fruitful but I don’t see it working or perhaps they can reignite the chemistry they have back in Oklahoma City Thunder. Well, I’d be realist, Green is just to optimistic and maybe deep inside he’s thinking the same, as the season starts and goes on, he’d be able to notice the frequency of him being able to touch the ball.

Anyways, what are your thoughts guys, do you agree what Gerald Green is thinking?
