The defending NBA Champions take on the Utah Jazz today. And after taking a franchise-record 40 point lead heading into halftime, the Toronto Raptors defeated the Utah Jazz, 130-110. Pascal Siakam led the way for the Toronto Raptors with 35 points (26 points in the first half), 5 rebounds and 5 assists, while Fred VanVleet added 21 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists. The defending champions are showing they can still perform without Kawhi Leonard. Mike Conley tallied 20 points for the Utah Jazz. The shooting of the Utah Jazz in the first half is way too low and their playing poor defense, poor shooting and lastly. no execution. Anyways, I’m starting to like Toronto Raptors they play simple and easy basketball, with lockout defense! Again Pascal Siakam and Fred VanVleet, these two are proving that they are a deadly duo together, they will help the Toronto Raptors get far in the playoffs. Things will only continue to get better for Toronto when Kyle Lowry returns and this team would be as deadly as what they did last season. And they have a high chances of still making the East Finals and perhaps the NBA Finals if they managed to defeat the Sixers and the Bucks; provided these players of the Raptors are all healthy.
