Benched last game by Chicago Bulls' Jim Boylen, swingman Zach Lavine proves his position to the squad where he exploded against Hornets (away game) and snatched a win as they return home. His 49 point performance, including his thirteen 3-pointers - a new franchise record for him and for the Bulls. Zach Lavine is the third player to score thirteen three-point baskets.

The Bulls lead as much as 11 points at the end of first quarter but was trailing at the end of three quarters. It was such a close game at the fourth until a scrappy play at the dying seconds with their full-court trap they were able to steal the position and Lavine immediately stepped outside the arc and shoot the three.

It was the winning shot of the game, but most importantly the winning moment for Zach Lavine to prove his position in Chicago Bulls. There has been doubts of his potential to carry the squad, being the front liner. This just proves that this man can literally be explosive, if become consistent.

Every play was crucial. We just kept hitting shots

Says Zach Lavine when interviewed by Chicago Sun-Times. This is a good match for the Bulls that will surely boost their morale as they head off to gather as much wins before the Christmas season.
