Kusaljanith Perera top-scored for Sri Lanka with 27 runs.Chasing a winning target, the Australians reached their target with 118 runs for the loss of only one wicket at the end of 13 overs.
Opener David Warner was unbeaten on 55 and Steven Smith 51 not out.
The third and final Twenty20 match between the two countries will be held in Melbourne on the 3rd.
