Moussa Dembele on Tico's wish list

Atletico Madrid recently terminated the contract of Spanish striker Diego Costa, and now they should have found their replacement. It is the French Lyon striker Moussa Dembele.

Moussa Dembele has since his switch to French football been a huge success at Lyon, where he has finished the two previous seasons as top scorer for the club. It should now have captured Atletico Madrid's interest.

According to the French newspaper L'Équipe, the team from Madrid should have sent an offer to Lyon for a loan with a purchase option, and the French striker should be very interested in being allowed to play for the Spanish capital club.

The management of Lyon will not oppose this wish, and work is currently underway to close an agreement between the two parties. The French should have appointed the Algerian Leicester City striker Islam Slimane as a replacement.
