A little over a year ago Mutant Year Zero went on sale for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (while Nintendo Switch received it in mid-2019). Since then, they have maintained this title through some expansions, and even became free in the Epic Games Store. However, fans of this genre of tactical action can feel satisfied since the study that was responsible for its development, Bearded Ladies, has confirmed a new project called Corruption 2029.

Through a video dedicated to revealing this new game, they have shown what their mechanics will consist of and what differences they will present with Mutant Year Zero. The most visible is that they will share gender and even some stealth apparently, although this time we will not control mutant animals, but elite soldiers who must save the United States from a totalitarian regime. However, both deliveries have some differences that cause Corruption 2029 to get slightly closer to an XCOM.

For example, it seems that the aforementioned soldiers must go to different missions without the possibility of real-time exploration around the world. The trailer in question is published on a YouTube channel created specifically for this title, although we leave it below for convenience:

And something absolutely remarkable is the release date, which is surprisingly close: February 17. However, not all users will be able to enjoy the new work of Bearded Ladies, since Corruption 2029 will be launched exclusively in the Epic Games Store, so at the moment I don't know if it will finally end up landing on other platforms.
