Beerschot vs Anderlecht
Beerschot after 12 matches has a 33-30 goal saldo which went to extreme last match with a 5-5 score. Their coach after the match looked like he realized that this type of play was too extreme. Anderlecht played a strange and very boring match again giving a lead away in the last minute. They are unbeaten in their last 4 matches and have only lost 1 match this season but it's hard to say that they have been impressive knowing that they had an easy schedule. Looking at their overall numbers again their Asian handicaps, they are down going 5.5W5.5L-1P and seem to perform a bit worse away from home. Beerschot on the other hand is 6W-4.5L-1.5P with a really solid home record. I had to take a small bet on
Beerschot +0.5 @ 1.958 and I also got a small bet in on the
Over 3 @ 1.800 as it is not unlikely to see another open match from Beerschot. The home team only lost the corners score once at home while Anderlecht is 50% on them away. This made me take a small bet on
Beerschot Corners +0.5 @ 1.876 since I also wouldn't be surprised to see Anderlecht lay back a bit luring on the counter. Should be an interesting match.
Zulte-Waregem vs KV Mechelen
Zulte-Waregem had a difficult season so far but managed to get a deserved away win against Cercle in week 12. Overall they don't seem to be good enough and they mostly need to take the points against the weaker teams. Mechelen is in somewhat a similar position and both rank 14 and 15th in the league. I guess this might turn out in one of those matches where the fear to lose could be bigger compared to the will to win. Mechelen will be without Defour and De Camargo but Vranckx is back. Van Damme (highly important) seems to be questionable so final line-up will be key. Zulte-Waregem will be as good as complete. Zulte-Waregem despite their overall poor performance has been a good 1H team especially at home where they only lost 1 while Mechelen has been a poor 1H team 1W-1D-3L away. I took a medium bet on
Zulte-Waregem 1H +0.25 @ 1.81 as I do see them capable of playing a focussed 1st half. I also wouldn't be surprised if there was a 1st half were both teams aren't really willing to take much risks.
Charleroi vs AA Gent
There was no life in AA Gent whatsoever in their last match after a really busy schedule. I do see them as a much better team compared to how they have performed so far this season and can see them getting on a hot run at some point. Charleroi remains a hard-to-beat team and nobody really enjoys playing against them. This one is simply not a match that gives me any excitement when it comes down to betting so I will stick to just waiting it out and see how the match evolves live.
No Pre-Game Bets
Racing Genk vs Moeskroen
Racing Genk has a new coach with Van Den Brom who will be looking to continue the 4-game winning streak they are on. He was the coach Dessers turned Top striker under in the dutch league so he will likely benefit from the situation. He is expected to start on the bench as the same 11 will play. Moeskroen is last in the league because of a combination of not being good enough and not having luck on their side. They had some Covid cases and saw their matches being postponed in week 12,11 and 10 which makes it that the last match they played was ages ago. This lack of match rhythm won't help them. Looking at their corners away they lost 7-3 | 12-2 | 8-1 | 6-0. I expect Genk to go forward in the 1st half while Moeskroen still getting used to playing a match again. I do expect Genk to take charge being the better team with a new coach effect while Moeskroen will need to get used to playing a match again. I took a small bet on
Genk 1H Corners -1.25 @ 1.880 despite the fact that they haven't that good of a corners record. Should be an interesting match for live bets.
