Kv Mechelen vs Zulte-Waregem

Kv Mechelen did well by doing a coach change as they now found back their willingness to put in the effort which resulted in more points and a newly found confidence. last week, they did lose 3-1 against Genk but they actually played a solid 1st half. So Mechelen right now is certainly a team that I'm looking to potentially back at the right price and handicap. Zulte-Waregem showed last week that they are a team with 2 faces and it's just hard to put any trust in them. After encouraging performances against Oostende, Anderlecht, & Kortrijk where they took 6 on 9, it was back to just plain bad against Standard who wasn't even that good. They played for a draw and failed losing 0-3. Mechelen so far has only lost the first 1H at home while Zulte-Waregem away never took a win. I'm cautiously took a 0.25 unit bet on Mechelen 1st Half -0.25 @ 1.840 with an eye to possibly take more at a better line in-game. I will likely also take a small bet on Mechelen on the 1H corners as I do see them as the team that will be taking all the initiative. Zulte so far remarkably has been a team that was cray overish at home (6W-1L vs total line) but very underish away going 1W-5L against the Over line. Mechelen is slightly an over team with both teams having most their goals in the 2nd half (57.7% & 66.7%)

Cercle Brugge vs OH Leuven

Cercle Brugge went on a 3-game winning streak as expected which was followed by a draw last week against Kortrijk. I have been decreasing my stakes on Kortrijk skipping on a bet last week as they aren't exactly under the radar anymore. Today, they play against OH Leuven who played a poor 1st half but a good 2nd half at home last week against AA Gent which ended in a 1-1 draw. Overall they have been in a declining form showing some regression to the mean after an excellent start of the season. Cercle right now is in a better form and play at home were they impressed in their last 2 games against Charleroi and Eupen scoring 5 and 4 goals. The -0.75 line is too extreme for me on the home team even though I also don't want to oppose them especially since Leuven tends to be a good away team. They on average scored 2 goals in their away games and I would not be surprised if this turned out in quite the open match with goals on both side. I do see enough value to take 0.1 unit on OHL Team Total Over 1.5 @ 2.741 and will be looking out for further over bets depending on how the match goes.

Seraing vs Sint-Truiden

Seraing now is 2nd last in the league after 3 losses in a row and they recently fired their coach who wasn't the problems as he actually managed to get some ok performances from a team that purely based on quality is quite bad. They do play on a narrow pitch which makes them the team with the least goals in the first half at only 0.29 on average in 7 home matches so far. Stvv is a team with more quality and a solid defense while at the same time having a hard time creating chances and scoring goals. This despite scoring 3 last week away against Westerlo where they were extremely efficient. Everything about this match shouts out low goals but the line also is set it this at Under 2.25 well below even money. My lean for sure in on the visitors but I'm not willing to risk anything yet and will just see how the match looks first also because of the coach change for Seraing. No Pre-Game Bets

Eupen vs Standard

Eupen is in a similar situation to Zulte with some encouraging performances against Mechelen and Leuven followed by another really bad performance against Anderlecht especially in the 1st half. So it's hard to trust them and the only real option is to oppose them. Standard are now in 5th place and analists are talking now on them potentially getting in Playoff 1 which is similar how they talked about if Antwerp was ever going to lose a match right before they went on a bad streak with 3 losses in 4 matches. I'm still not sold on Standard even though I'm no longer blindly fading them. They didn't play that well last week away most of the game against Zulte but made the difference in the end which was not undeserved. I do expect this ti be a match where both teams are willing to go for it and with Standard having 13 & 14 corners in their last away games while Eupen in general at home has many corners with an average around 11.5 also goung 15 & 14 in their last 2 away games I took a small initial 0.2 unit bet on Over 10 Corners @ 1.950 and just a tiny 0.05 unit bet on Standard +0.5 corners @ 1.870
