Some good results yesterday on the live betting action making around 1 unit profit and gaining some confidence as results are more normal again. I did make the mistake of giving too little authority to the Asian Betting markets as they clearly indicated an Stvv win. At least I kept my stakes on Zulte-Waregem to a minimum. 4 more matches today I'm looking forward to handicapping, watching, and betting continuing the grind...
Club Brugge vs AA Gent
Club Brugge is currently winning again and grinded their way back to the lead in the standings, but they still aren't showing the peak form they reached early in the season. AA Gent also finally started winning with new coach Vanhaezebroeck taking a 6 on 6 in the last 2 matches. Both have coaches that want to play without crawling back and they have players that are able to score. They are also both rare teams who have a more balanced 1H/2H goals ratio as Club Brugge has 47.4% (1.13) of their home goals in 1st half and AA Gent has 58.3% (1.75) of their goals away in 1st half. I do expect an entertaining match with goals and drive to score from the start despite the fact that Club Brugge kept a clean sheet in 4 of their last 5 matches. I did take a small initial bet on
1st Half Over 1 @ 1.76 with an eye to maybe take more in-game. I do see Club Brugge overall as the better team and I still have an angle to bet them when they fall behind in a match. Should be interesting.
OH Leuven vs KV Mechelen
This match on the surface reminds me of Zulte vs Stvv from yesterday. Looking at the form and the numbers, it makes no sense that Mechelen is the favorite in this match. OHL is unbeaten in the last 4 matches taking 4 wins and remains a deadly counter team now being in 4th spot in the League. KV Mechelen is one of those teams that played good matches not taking the points which now seems to get inside their head affecting their confidence as they are on the bottom with 14 points with other bottom teams starting to win. Van Damme is back for them but Defour is out while OHL is without their top striker Henry. I expect this to be a match where KV Mechelen is not going to be willing to blindly go forward as they will be scared of the counters while Leuven is without Henry. I did take a medium trading position on
Under 3 @ 1.985 with an eye to possibly trade out if needed or take a middle position if it plays out the way I anticipate. Taking OH Leuven on a handicap with very high odds also makes sense to me.
Standard vs Moeskroen
Standard has not been good enough the past couple of weeks and their coach right now is under fire. They have not won in their last 6 league matches and have a hard time finding the goal. Moeskroen similar to the other bottom teams started to take points and are actually still unbeaten in the 1st half away drawing every single time. I do expect Standard to have extra motivation today as they need to break their bad streak in the league and they did manage to show good form in the Europa League. In that regard, I'm getting the -1.25 line on them. The more I look at this match and the odds, the more I think it's best to just stay away pre-game and wait for possible good live-betting opportunities.

Waasland vs Antwerp
So Antwerp took a 0 on 9 in the league and seemed to have suffered from the fatigue that comes with playing in the Europa League. Waasland is a bottom team that continues to be able to score in nearly every match with Koita and Heymans in good form. These teams tend to play crazy matches with most of their goals in the 2nd half (70% of home goals Waasland 2.22 on average & 60% of Away goals Antwerp 2.0 on average). Win & Both to score @ 2.95 which I took a beer bet on over at
Wink.org. All real betting action I'm keeping for in-game with an eye on the 2nd half over and possibly a bet on Over 9 corners all depending on how the match evolves and if Haroun who is now questionable will play.
