What Do You Think will be the Reasons why Los Angeles Lakers won't be Winning the Title This Season?

We all know it, the current line up of Los Angeles Lakers is very strong - thanks to the addition of Anthony Davis. His presence inside is really a big factor in both defense and offense. With the addition of Danny Green and Demarcus Cousins, it seems like Lebron James will be getting a lot of help.

Note that Kyle Kuzma and KCP are still included in the Lakers line up, this assembled a formidable starting line up with a good bench.

But honestly, I don't see this team will be winning championship this year. There were a lot of factors and if you happen to read this post, let's try to talk things below on why do I think Lakers will not be winning this year.

Don't count the Lakers out yet.
King james still king.
If there is a year for Lakers to steal the show
now you have it.
No KD, no Thompson, just bunch of duos.
I can see yellow and green all over this.
82 games will bring the team together and believe me it will be impossible
to see LBJ not in contention two years in a row.
He ain't getting young.
He gained a lot of experience.
Winning is his trademark.
He has won with Cavs with way less help than this team.
He loves to compete.
I am not worry much for Clippers.
For me they have only two players.
They just bring more fire to Lakers to play better.
I think they could be some addition to the team before the trade deadline.
Let's hope there is no injuries.
L.A. will be lit and James may be throne finally the GOAT of his era.
AD comes to LA to win it.
Seven years in the league, he is eager
to put his experience to the test at the playoffs.
I was waiting to read your post for more juicy reason why.
But you came up short.

I didn't put my reasons for a healthy comment conversation below and you nailed some important points to consider! :) This post is really intended to deliberate things about our opinion with Lakers.

Don't get me wrong, I love Lebron and he's already GOAT. But things have changed. Warriors in fact will be having a hard time to win championships.

I may be very biased or a bit tired of seeing Bron in the playoffs but seeing how balance teams now and personal preferences.

  • The evolution of offense has drastically changed in just a couple of years. Threes are a priority in every player and I guess this is a thing Lakers need to work on.

  • Emerging teams are now building the best line ups they can have. Look at the Bucks, Philadelphia, Rockets and not to mention about Warriors - if you noticed they almost retained their original line up before with their core. Clippers will be explosive this season not because of Kawhi and George but the quality of coaching Doc Rivers have. Boston's acquisition of Kemba will make them a top contender of the East.

  • I really don't see Vogel can handle it. It will take a year or two probably. Lebron will redirect it. Most likely he'll play PG position.

I'm excited to see Lakers future is, honestly. The man (Bron) deserves more than a playoff spot.

They have arguably the most talented roster on paper
For me one their biggest concern is there will be

  • unfamiliarity with each other, new coach and a lot of new faces in the squad
  • We couldn't tell how healthy Lebron and AD would be this season as they missed alot of games just last season
  • Western Conference is much tougher now with Kawhi and PG as the biggest challenge


    But there is another argument to this side and maybe they can won a title with the following factor
  • Cousins is fully healthy atleast play at 60% of his true self
  • Kuzma developed into an all-star caliber player
  • Lebron is still himself and play just average defense which he is not doing last season
  • Frank Vogel is the coach Lebron wanted to play
  • Lastly AD could reach his highest potential and crave for the championship as he is in my opinion challenging Tim Duncan on the best powerforward of all time but he needs to a lot of chips for this to be a debate.

I can see that most teams are now gearing up with the same hope - winning. So it'll be a tough challenge and I will truly be amazed if they will win it.

Well can't say anything specific but the team combination and the chemistry between the players is something that i feel like its the best we will ever witness !
