Afcon Finals 2019: Senegal Vs Algeria

Hello, sports lovers,
Today is the day we have all been waiting for in the world of football. This is the day to windup the Afcon. History is going to be made.
In this post, I am going to show you how the journey of the two teams in the Afcon has been from the point of qualifying in the Afcon.

Qualifiers.

Let me start with the Qualifiers.

Senegal

In the Qualifiers, Senegal qualified with 16 points at the top of its group with only on drow in all the games they played as you can seen In the screenshot above.

The qualified through the group stage but the lost only one game to Algeria which they are going to be playing today.

After losing that one the come out strong in the round of 16 to defeat Uganda by 0-1.
And all the games they have been winning have been 0-1 up to when they have riched to the final of the Afcon. see in the screenshot below;

Algeria

The managed to go through the qualifications stage with only 13. But managed to be on top of all the team in their qualification group.

in the group stage, they qualified on top of the group after defeating Senegal 1-0.

They have been winning their game comfortable apart from the Ivory coat game which gave them a hard time and ended in penalty shoot outs.

Head to head.

When you look at their H2H Algeria has an upper hand in this one. in the last 4 meetings, Algeria has won 3 and drawn 1 of their lost 4 meetings.

But remember this is a final expect a very good game today.
the battle will be mainly between Sadio Mane and Riyad Mahrez.

I see Senegal slightly favored, even if the absence of the Napoli defender is important, for me this match ends 2-1.
