My Actifit Report Card: November 15 2019
Feeling better and recovering from family being here, which is nice.
Could probably have been more productive in general, but I’ve just been a little scattered. Too many little things to do makes it hard to do any one big thing, as I’ve been struggling with a lot recently.
I finished reading The Left Hand of Darkness yesterday, and I’ll probably write an in-depth analysis of it soon. I think that Le Guin is a masterful writer, and she really showcases how you can tell a highly engaging story that doesn’t have a lot of “action” in the sense that it’s mostly dialogue and politics, with some travel thrown in.
Plus, her world-building is incredible, and shows that she has a tremendous understanding of anthropology and psychology.
Wrote a poem today. Little on the dark side, because I’ve been working on a character for a game who’s just a tad villainous. More than a tad villainous. But not necessarily harmful: malevolent in motive, impotent in execution.
