Tidy Friday - Savagery: August 30 2019
Tidy Friday - so I took my car out on a few errands, picking up and dropping off various things. Got a bargain in Homebase, a slightly wilted Ficus reduced from £50 to £20. I've given it a good watering since I got home and it looks fine. Tomorrow, I'll sort out a new pot for it. Also got some winter pansies and a dahlia.
When I came back to the car, there was a wasp ensnared in the web on the side mirror and a spider attacking it. Finally, on the drive home, the spider hauled the now-dead wasp into the inner recesses of the car window frame. The whole thing accomplished in about thirteen minutes. I have a picture of the attack, with a reflection in the side mirror, but so far @actifit has refused to let me load it. Maybe come back tomorrow.
My steps today were mainly achieved by gardening, sorting out the last tomatoes, harvesting the onions, a bit of weeding and hoeing and a lot of back and forth looking for different tools

Gosh! You have done quite a lot in your garden!! We have soggy and wet ground so not much could be done!
I think it’s time to prune the mango trees and bamboo too! A lot of work waiting to be done in my garden!

My parents are getting their winter plants together too. I’m not quite there yet but I look forward to planting with my family. My daughter has already started some experimenting :)
Luckily, I was just a ring-side spectator :)
