The swallows have gone: August 26 2019
Today the swallows have gone. There's an eriee silence in the air.
They arrive to brood every April (almost on the same day every year) and today they've left our blue skies. Heading for Africa.
Despite our poor weather in the early summer, they seem to have done well with over 30 perched on our telephone wire the other day.
See you next year x
