Your health is your own responsibility.

Being born disabled, getting sick later in life is hard to deal with. You might not get better but you can feel better or at least give it a try!

No excuses!

Might be you never boiled an egg in your life, but neither did I before I gave it a try.
If you can read you can cook. If you watch television, visit or meet other people you know how people live. You can figure out your home is not the norm.

I can not remember my baby time.

I know my mother felt irritated, she hated to be pregnant, shouted at her mother she was not giving birth yet but probably had diarrhoea.

I was born too early, at home (which is still normal in the Netherlands) and my mother dumped me in the bathroom so she would not hear me cry.

I was not able to eat so close to death as I entered the hospital and stayed there for a very long time and came out with strong allergies and eczema.

I tried to keep myself alive and at times even fit, as years passed by.
My life, my health did not became easier or more healthy. My 7 bad years are still there, the 7 good ones never came.

You can hide and cry your eyes out of your head or kick your own ass. If you want a better life work for it @fitinfunfood gives great tips.

I take risks.

Might be I drop dead being active, even more as before, but I have to give it a try. Now I do not need prednisone on a daily base I need to do something to feel better.d

Today I broke my personal record.

I took 24,003 steps!
I noticed the @Actifit app on my mobile only counts every second or third step. I really felt annoyed about that. The only thing I could do was walking for to get those 10k.

Counting steps

In 1 minute I can walk 120 steps.
I try to walk every hour 15-20 minutes. Two times I walked for 30 minutes.
Because I do not want to take the risk to fall down outside I do most steps inside.

The doctor did not find a solution for my unconsciousness. I will search for a solution myself. Who knows Actifit can help me and using some more muscles will benefit my nerves. If not I can always go back to hospital and let them experiment on me.
