And now you tell me I have to deal with it alone?! You know I don't have the qualifications or can sign the papers on my own. Any more surprises?"
In a flash she thought back how it all started. The great life, business and parter she had and how she gave up on it for the only thing she didn't had.
"You can't always get what you want" a voice inside her head whined
She closed her eyes hoped to silence the annoying, monotome voice as she repeated the words
"Wanne bet I always get what I want!, Wanne bet! I always get what I want! I get what I want! I get.."
She found herself back in a small, white room, could not remember how she ended up in there. No furniture, a mattress covered by a white sheet only.
"She is a very determined woman, but this is a men's world.
No way she can be your partner. What made you think they agree with it? If you go on with this you can forget it. You are turned into scrap before you can count till ten."
"She is my partner and a damned good one. What did you do to her?"
"Nothing special, you know how it works. Don't worry within a week she cannot remember you, any of her plans or even tell if she is dreaming or alive. For the Iron's sake this is a human."
He looked through the small window and spotted her sitting on the mattress.
"Look for yourself she already gave up fighting."
Pleased with the rapid success, it turned around.
"Might be but you didn't convince me. It is like you said you can't have it all."
As Engine's sound was turned off, it only needed to open the door and wait. Once she had finished her beauty sleep, she would listen to the explanation and understand. The proof was right there and they would be partners again.
This is my entry to the #weekendfreewrite with 3 given prompts. I also used today's prompt engine sound.

It was an peaceful Sunday with rest for me and my leg that really needs to heal now.
Might be I stop counting steps for a while. I like to write and miss that. It takes a lot of time on a mobile phone and I can only write if I sit or lay down. An other aspect is I have a hard time to stay awake again. I need to catch some extra sleep.
We watched a tv series on dvd and I did some daily chorus.

Look at you writing and writing. You never give up do you. Great I spotted you when you were 50 so big got a few delegations and look at you now. 😊 when the big investers come in next year you could be settled. The year isn't over and you grew to 1600sp without one liners you allways made stories from whatever the situation was, that's so great. The other side to this will be that this will be allways online or as long as the blockchain is profitable or as long as the games run. Keep on going with this I don't promise you get something out of it but you will make something your loved ones can read. 😉

I grew because I bought Steem just like you. About 700/so it is not thanks to my great writing style and the upvotes I grow here.
I mainly do it because I host to contests and my upvote was not worth much and after the HF only 50% of few which is not much either.
Yes, I keep writing and commenting and upvoting and who knows I once will have the benefits from it. If I am bankrupt earlier I give up on here. My earnings are decreasing werk after week.
Good thing there are other places that earn better (if I only had a better connection). I will spread my chances. Partiko gives me a hard time too nd I need more as one (4) tools to join.

For now I write #forthechildren and not only here. I doubt I live long enough to see Steemit booming.
Hope you are doing better, over here it goes up and down but that is what life is.
