Visiting friends
It was a great weekend. We visited our friends who live and work on a farm. They are half a kilometer away from the nearest neighbor, a mile away from the asphalt road, two miles away from the valley below their farm.
It can be described as idilic and romantic from the eyes of a visitor. Of course, there is always hard work to be done. Yet, they enjoy their living immensely and wouldn't change it.
The Sunday started with a morning run from their farm to the top of the hill. It was sunny at the top while the mist from the valley and the river bed was climbing slowly towards the raising sun.

A centimeter of snow has fallen the previous evening. Enough to decorate the branches.
We will return in the summer to witness the wealth and the power of nature.
