Carinthia skiing tour no. 2 - Goldeck
Goldeck is a mountain above Spittal in Carinthia, Austria. The locals call it Sportberg - sports mountain.
By the way, gold eck means golden corner.
You can be active up there throughout the year. In winter, skiing and snowboarding are the main activities, of course.
It is a small ski resort with just two six-seating ski lifts. Yet, you can use the whole eastern face of the mountain and so it becomes quite big. You can ski on and off the piste.
It was a nice surprise to ski here and have a good time. We will certainly return.
This slope is off the piste yet easily reachable and skiable in its full width. Awesome.
