The choir
Pictured is the Väike-Maarja church. Old architecture always fascinates and humbles me at the same time. Not that walls have eyes and memories, but walls have eyes and memories. Imagine all the things they have seen and witnessed. Despite the post title, no church choir was heard at the time of visiting the church, but does the word "choir" mean anything else?
I was recently playing Amnesia The Dark Descent due to my deep love of horror games, and I am still creeped out by the area named Choir in the game. In that area you had to navigate a large dimly lit area with high pillars everywhere around you, while trying not to stumble upon medieval monsters on the lookout for you. Although the name Choir seemed suitable for the area that made you shit bricks, I still fail to understand its meaning.
Anyway, I'm not gonna burden you with much more of my ramblings, but leave you with a nighttime photo of horrible quality of the Lurich statue also in Väike-Maarja.

Oh boy, I (think I) have both Amnesia games on Steam yet I haven't played them since buying them. I used to play The Dark Descent a bit with my relative somewhere back in 2012? (We were huge fans of PewDiePie back then, xD) Was fun.
Pewdiepie was some famous streames who played the game? Well it seems in that case that he has excellent taste in games! :)
I just re-whipped out my horror collection. Outlast 1 and 2, Whistleblower, Amnesia, Alan Wake, Layers of Fear, The Evil Within and then I'll probably buy RE7 if I have some time left over...
Not sure if he streamed games, but he's the most subscribed YouTuber.
I'm currently binging Kingdom Come: Deliverance myself, which is not a horror game, but still. :P
Looks nice! I myself am trying to stay away from open world games because I am afraid of the time lost that I would spend playing these beauties once I get hooked.
