The rain came down,
Furball did frown.

Furball did snort,
my walks cut short!

It okay, I did say,
inside we can play!

We gave it our best,
now it's time to rest.

It sounds like you were stuck inside today too. It has been raining off and on all day where I'm at. Dog-oh has been whining but he hates going out in the rain.

Furball hates going out in the rain, too. Thankfully, my yard is fenced in, I can let him out the kitchen door. He takes care of his business and comes right back in.

A nice short and sweet poem, furball did fall asleep 😱. Must be really exhausted 😴. That rain ☔ curtailed your stepping but at least you got over 5k🙌

Furball says thank you! I like the rain too, I just don't enjoy walking Furball when it rains. He needs to be dried off if he gets too wet and he occasionally tracks mud in the house.
