The "Varna Marathon" became my sixth marathon and the first in Bulgaria. From which I decided to start getting acquainted with the races of this country.

The marathon consisted of 4 laps of 10.5 each. The route of one circle passed through the territory of the Seaside Park and the embankment. If it was comfortable to run in the park, then on the waterfront is not very much as there was almost no shade, so I had to take sunbathing, which was occasionally interrupted by the wind from the sea. There are a few ascents and descents on the route. The biggest descent is in the middle of each circle, and the ascent is about 2 kilometers before the start of a new circle. Which made jogging along the waterfront even more interesting.

As for the organization, the marathon is well organized, the route is blocked by the police, the food station about every 3 kilometers.

Support on the track was also quite good, especially when the route passed through the streets of the city.

The only thing I lacked was the distance.
