Coatesville Half Marathon
I just finished a 21.276km running that lasted about 1hh:36mm:26ss !
@run.kirsty.run is doing the Auckland Half Marathon series over summer, so I've been joining in on a few of the races...actually Kirsty got me entry to the race for Christmas.
It was a beautiful morning for the run but it was a tough week of training so was not thinking the run would be that impressive. I definitely wanted to take the first half of the run a little easier than I normally would as from the last time I did this run, I remember there to be a lot of hills in this half.
I think a lot of the other runners around me were not ready for the hill climbing in the second half of the run and it was fun to run through the field for a solid race finish at the end.

Good effort,
Even better than going slow in the first half and then picking up pace in the second to run through a few people is running at yer normal pace and then every one else slowing down and passing them that way!
Love that.
Yep, its always a great feeling to finish strong.
Nothing can stop a consistent Runner.
