My Actifit Report Card: September 11 2019

Today I did some more disc golfing, mowed the lawn and did some house work. At the end of the evening I was so close to 10K steps that I paced around the house for a bit.

On tonight's disc golf game I scored one over par on nine baskets. After the game I practiced a lot on one of the the particularly fun baskets in the course.

It is a shorter shot that you have to get to go around some trees that are right between you and the basket. There are also some trees on the right that partially block the right hand backhand line. If you try to throw out to the right far enough to fade in to the basket there is a tree right where the best line would be.

I almost always try to use my Valkyrie disc but unless I get it really close to the tree it will usually fade to far to the left. A faster speed driver usually goes too long.

I tried a few of the other discs in my bag but nothing seemed to work any better than the Valkyrie. This disc is super light at 148 grams and has a 2 fade. It works alright but it is really a touch shot to get it in the gap between the trees on the just the right angle.

Next time I'm going to try my Archangle disc again for this basket. Its flight number are: 8 6 -4 1 compared to the Valkyrie at: 9 4 -2 2. (Number are: Speed, glide, turn, and fade) Having a bit more understable disc will help hold the throwing angle I hope and having less fade, will keep the disc from fading so far over to the left. This should help it get through the gaps between the trees with more wiggle room for not getting the throw just perfect.

I've been thinking a bit about investing in a little of Neoxag. After I heard that it is changing to add some payment to stake holders I decided to go ahead and make an investment. It seems to be pretty popular.

There are lots of things to get involved in right now, it is an interesting time for sure.
